Session Description :

Friends! Countrymen! Rhoegeans! Lend me your ears! And your eyes, hands, and casting implements, because it's finally time for the Royal Repertory Theatre's Grand Opening! It's taken a lot of sweat, blood, and tears to get this far, and so I can't let it fail now.

I need you run protection on our opening night. If anything goes wrong, it would be tonight. I've been allotted a 6000 GP budget for security, and it's all going to you, provided the show goes on without a hitch.

Subtlety preferred; black tie required.

Session Summary :

The Squad: Marcus, Weyland, and a somewhat reswizzled Steph.

The Mission: Sooooo it was opening night at Thom's new theater and oh jeez the big head honcho Yotheb el-Malvomen reserved a seat in the VIP booth. Seeing as how Thom kinda stole (er… had people steal) this theater from him, and also stole a prop from his brother's (cousin’s?) house, this is, and I must quote Thom here, a “big dick move”, so Thom took the seat right next to him. El-Malvomen is definitely gonna try and ruin the show! The show, by the way, is the tale of Jomeur Many-Mane, the Saint of Travel, who is a dog, by the way. A summary of the play can be found in the Handouts section of the Journal tab in the roll20.

And Yotheb tried really hard! There were plants in the audience heckling the actors, somebody Charmed a stagehand into closing the curtains at the wrong time (and Weyland threw a hammer at her and almost killed her -.-) a couple skaven transformed into rats and tried to make the concessions (the maizefloofs) look infested, another hid a small bomb under the stage to make it actually catch fire when the illusory dragon breathed fire, and someone poisoned the pizza that the cast and crew ate, a weird one that just made it really hard to use magic. But we kept the "audience disruption" to a minimum (cause we rolled well on how much each event was noticed) and Yotheb left the performance wearing a “very neutral expression” :)
