Session Description :

If this message gets posted it means I was successful in entrapping the Dread King of the Skies or the Usurper. I will need all the help I can incapacitating (not killing) them to retrieve materials and collect data. That's where you come in. Meet me in Malyesta, we have to move quickly befroe their containment place collapses or worse, they kill each other (if I managed to catch both).

Session Summary :

Players: Mikey: Ioha, Jerry: Ephriam, Drew: Torikku, Jackson: Franklin.

Before the session review begins, I just want to say for the record that Logan said that he may have overoptimized these monsters. So already, y'know it's bad. Anywho, Noire into the guild asking the guild if anyone wanted to help subjugate a god. Out of curiosity/need for money(mostly money) we all hastily decided that it seemed like an excellent idea. Instantly, we were teleported to the middle of the desert, where we were breifed more on the situation. Specifically, we had a limited amount of time to prepare before the monste-I MEAN GODs would kill each other.

After a hearty round of buffs for everyone (including Franklin and Ephriam becoming metal men, ioha's time shenanigans, and torikku's over-healing and energy resistance), we bamfed to the fight scene. Our position was instantly given away (thanks to magical signs) and we found ourselves face to face with "The Dread King" and "The Usurper of Heavens". And it was hot. And raining. And lightning-ing, which was being pulled into our metal forms. It certainly wasn't an ideal way to start the fight. Franklin tried restraining The Dread King, but to no avail. Ephriam started wailing on The Usurper, as did Ioha's slimes. Torikku primarily provided teleport support (even imbued a teleport to the slimes, which was called into question at one point if they could even perform such an act). All the while The Usurper rained lightning down, and the Dread King trying desparatley to chomp down on some nice Torikku (probably because she was the only one of the group who didn't have a metal coating/mineral body). After failing to restrain the Dread King, Franklin tried a few other measures, like making a lightning rod for instance, before deciding fuck it let's drop a statue on this Usurper fuck. And it worked, somehow. Unfortunatley, the storm of the Usurper were countering the Dread King's own heat. The heat was REALLY on then. Several fire tornadoes later, Franklin, Torikku, and Ioha were zipping around the map like nobody's buisness (just imagine the Benny Hill theme playing at this point), and Ephriam began to attack using his spear Gungnir. Ephriam dealt the final blow to the Dread King, using his minty fresh lightning breath, finally subduing the horrible pair. The day was saved!

In the end, we all got 6,000 gold. Though the real question is, can you put a price on a God? If you can, can it even be called one?
